Support for You
Training Courses
The training scheme is nationally based, but the organisation and delivery of the scheme is local and the responsibility of each Scout County.
Face to face training courses allow you to meet other Leaders and swap stories and ideas and are generally genuine fun. Multi Module weekends, and Wood Badge Courses available from County allow you to select the modules to suit you or offer the opportunity of completing all your training in one go.
Dates of County training courses can be found opposite in the calendar feed.
If you wish to book on to any of these courses please click here or use the booking button below.
Details of District courses are distributed via email or published on the District Facebook Training Page

Training Advisers
Most Groups have one or more TA’s (Training Adviser), if your Group does not, we will assign someone close to your Group. The Training Team will contact you shortly to confirm who your TA is. They will help you to identify learning needs, support you in completing your learning and validation and should be your first point of contact. You can also access / send certificates / proof of training or validation to the TA Team.
Managers and Supporters require a ‘higher level’ TA (TA Managers &Supporters)

If you have not been assigned a TA within a few days please contact Colin Jones, who is responsible for assigning TA’s.
