We are always looking at ways that we can improve the experiences that we deliver to our young people.

One essential way that we can do that is by having exceptional adult volunteers helping in our Groups doing a variety of different roles.

Our most Important roles are those of Adult Leaders, without adult leaders we cannot provide the leadership and skills for the development of our young people. These roles are incredibly rewarding and bring with them learning and development opportunities for the leaders involved.

Our Sections also always need help from willing parents. Sometimes all we need is an extra pair of eyes and other times we need parents to help run a night or organise an event. Our Parent Helpers really do make it easier for us to provide a greater variety of Scouting experiences.

Our Groups are run by Executive Committees, these are made up of Section Leaders, parents and other people who want to help but are unable to commit to weekly meetings with the young people. Our Executive Committee Members are Trustees for the Group and ensure that the Scout Groups are able to operate.

If you are interested in any of the roles mentioned, please contact us about volunteering HERE.
