Venue Cliff Date 3rd March 2012 First Race 11.15 am
Time: Book in at reception desk with final numbers no later than 30 Minutes before start time.
RULES
1. Top half of uniform to be worn for arrival / departure. Bring running kit plus warm clothing for before and after the race.
2. NO SPIKES
3. The Judges decision is FINAL

Ages are as on the day of the cross country
There is NO limit on the number in each age group.
NOBODY CAN RUN IN MORE THAN ONE EVENT ON THE DAY.

5. The Scout Association has been given dispensation by the relevant national governing bodies to hold mixed events “run solely for the benefit of members of the association”. Therefore only one race, which may be mixed, will be run for each age group and mixed teams are permissible. However ONLY INVESTED MEMBERS of the Movement may take part. Note however, that a Beaver / Cub who has just come up but has not yet been invested as a Cub / Scout ARE an invested member of the movement.

Due to some schools having teacher training days immediately after half term
it has been decided to extend the closing date for the Cross Country to
Wednesday the 29th February.

NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
7. The entry fee of £5.00 per Colony. Pack, Troop or Unit plus 50 pence per head must be enclosed with the entry form.
Cheques drawn on group accounts should be made payable to Medway Towns District Scout Council.

8. Each age group entering MUST provide one Adult or Explorer Scout as a course marshal.
