SOS - SUPPORT OUR SOLDIERS!

An appeal from Del and Jean of the 27th All Saints.

Jean and Del are this area's coordinators for this campaign and were wondering if any of the District's Scouters would be kind enough to get on board and put together some shoe boxes full of goodies / essentials for our soldiers in Afghanistan please?

I are sure you have all done this at some point through your local school for charities to send to Third World countries but this is for OUR soldiers and so is a bit closer to home.

Please find below a list of suggested items to fill the boxes and once you have got them together please contact Jean or Del. If you do not know either of them please contact us for their phone number.

As Christmas is fast approaching it would be good to send some cheer out to those who cannot be home at this time of year although boxes are sent all year long so no worries if you can't get any together that quickly!
