To celebrate their 80th anniversary the 44th Medway have produced a limited edition anniversary badge. The badge was designed by one of the current 44th Medway Scouts. The embroidered badge is royal blue, 7.5cm square and has a clock face with the hands pointing to "80" along with the words "80 YEARS OF GROWING WITH 44TH MEDWAY".
Badges cost £1.00 each and are available from the Cub Leader at the 44th Medway. An email address is available from the Webmaster on request.
Badgers from outside the Medway Towns are also welcome.
Also, for the Group's Anniversary they are collecting as many Group name badges as possible to put on a flag in their hall. They have so far received badges from as far as South Africa and Canada. If you have a Group, District, County, Country or any Worldwide badge that you would be willing to donate to the 44th Medway for their special flag, please leave a comment below so that contact information may be shared.
