MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) courses run by the Kent Council for Voluntary Youth Services are available to Medway Towns Adult Leaders on the following dates:
- 29th August 2009.
- 4th or 20th September 2009.
- 7th, 11th, 15th, 19th, 24th or 30th October 2009.
- 4th, 9th, 18th, 23rd, 26th or 29th November 2009.
Courses start at 9.30am at The Youth House in Gillingham. Any Leaders wishing to undertake a MIDAS course should leave a comment below to be sent contact details for the Kent Council for Voluntary Youth Services team.
Please note:
- A course will only take place if there are sufficient numbers of candidates.
- Driver licenses MUST be taken with you on the day of the course.
- Midas Restrictions require you to be over 21 and have held a full UK license for 2 years.
- Over 70's need a medical.
- If you passed your test after the 01/01/97 you cannot take a Midas test unless you are driving as a volunteer.
