Closing date extended: A practical skills day open to all Medway Towns Leaders is being held on Saturday the 6th June at Hopehill Scout Campsite in Meopham.
The day is aimed at providing Leaders, Assistant Leaders, Section Assistants, Occasional Helpers from all sections and Group Quartermasters, with the opportunity to gain knowledge in a wide variety of practical Scouting skills. The intent is to accommodate all levels of experience; so for instance if you have never tied a knot in your life or if you have years of experience in pioneering, there will probably be something on hand that will be new to you.
Any Leaders wishing to attend should obtain the information pack from the link below, choose the sessions they wish to attend, then complete and return the application form to the Local Training Manager.
The closing date for applications is now Saturday 23rd May 2009.

At the moment there have only been thirty three applicants for this course from the whole County. The closing date is only a week away so please spread the word, and if you're thinking of going, get your application form to the Local Training Manager as soon as possible.
